HOW MOSHAO STARTED

Moshao, who has always been fascinated about history and is known for having debates with people about the rich history of South Africa, has created a first-of-its-kind museum in the township. The museum is located at 18717 Grassland, Phase 2. It was opened by Moshao, who had R2800 in his pocket to realise his lifelong dream of creating cultural awareness and helping the youth understand their heritage.

After successfully opening his own museum, which captures the rich culture and history of South Africa, in Grasland in 2008, the proud owner of Global Village Museum, Johannes Moshao, has now written and published his own book to help educate others about the Sesotho culture.
